Mixing Station Calibration

To accurately test a mixing station’s calibration :

1. Take two empty glass/plastic measuring jugs.
2. Fill one of the jugs with neat chemical from the drum (100mls).
3. Remove dip tube from chemical drum and place in this measuring jug.
4. With the second empty measuring jug place it so that the hose leading from the dosing unit that feeds the premixed chemical solution will pour into it.
5. Depress the button on the dosing unit so that it dispenses the solution (say 1000ml/1lt)
6. After this you should be able to see how many millilitres of the neat chemical has been drawn up from the measuring jug (i.e if there is say only 50ml left from the original 100ml, then the unit is dosing/diluting to 5%).
